Who isn't up for some delicious ice-cream! The week in my planner I wanted to have a lot of fun and challenge myself by creating my own bottom bar instead of using washi.
I wanted this week to focus on more of the ice-cream elements in the kit, and there was heaps to choose from.
Being a busy parent with kids at school I have a bunch of set routines which I follow each week. So before I add in any of the deco I make sure I allow spaces for these activities and any other additional appointments.
Laying down the washi at the top and bottom of my spreads is pretty much a staple in my weekly layouts but today I wanted to try something different. I challenged myself to create a washi out of the stickers I had left over from the kit. I'm really happy with how it turned out. For the bottom of the spread I used a bunch of the ice-cream stickers as well as the coloured dots and hearts to create my own "washi". I layered each of them down and then snipped off the bottoms of each of the stickers which were at the bottom of the page.

I also love using the minis from the kit, they add so much extra fun to my planner and have the cutest personalities. If I'm using the minis that peep around the box border I'll place the mini and then carefully colour in the line on the sticker.
The wide decorative dividers are perfect for the bottom of weekends
For my sidebar I like to include what my focus is for the week in the first part and then a menu of my dinners for the bottom. I used the trackers in the kit to pull focus and then layered the main girl Sandy over the top.
I've recorded a video of the full process which you can watch here:
This would normally be the video to match the project
Hero image included at the bottom of the post. This blog doesn't have any after the pen although it's highly encouraged to add at least one after the pen image, even if it's not your hero.
And that's another week done. I've decorated my spread but still have lots of space for my appointments and writing things on the go.
Until next time, keep creating!
