Entry #4 Dear Journal, As the first chapter of this year draws to a close, I can’t help but marvel at how far I’ve come in just a few weeks. Moving into my new loft, starting fresh, it was all a bit daunting at first. But now, surrounded by boxes that are slowly finding their places, I feel a sense of accomplishment and, surprisingly, excitement for what’s to come. This month was about setting foundations—quite literally in terms of my new home and metaphorically in terms of my life. Each box unpacked, each picture hung, was a step away from my past constraints and a step toward defining my own space and identity. It’s been a journey of self-love and gentle discoveries, from the simple joy of decorating my space to the profound moments of solitude that have allowed me to reconnect with myself. I tried new things too—like that yoga class that seemed so intimidating at first. It turned out to be a sanctuary of peace and strength I didn’t know I needed. And let’s not forget the self-care evenings that became my weekly ritual. Bubble baths, scented candles, and the pages of a good book have become my new best friends. Reflecting on this month, I’m proud of the bravery it took to turn the page and start this chapter. There’s a part of me that was hidden, buried under years of being someone for everyone else. Now, I’m finally giving myself the chance to be me—for me. So, here’s to the new beginnings, to the challenges that push us, and to the quiet moments of self-discovery. I’m ready to see what the next chapter holds, but for now, I’ll savor the victories, small and large, that this month has brought. Catch you later, Alexxoxo
