DIY Clear Journal
Project by Janus Zate
Hi there! My Name is Janus and I’ll be sharing with you my process on how I created this DIY clear Journal using the Milk Bar Kit.
I like creating journals from scratch whenever I find the time to do so. It also allows me to fully utilize anything and everything that I have at hand because let's face it, we all accumulate quite the collection with journaling and planning.
I used the acetate sheet from the kit to serve as my cover and created a very cute design on the spine using the retro ads washi tape.
The cover I created is hand stitched (with not so steady hands), and I admit I can't really sew very well but I did find it a fun challenge to do. I decided to add in two elastics to hold two notebook inserts inside and since I'm into art journaling, I got used to leaving my pages unbound and loose that way I can simply pull out specific pages i want to work on or rearrange my content whenever I feel like doing so.

I made use of the Luxe printable inserts that are downloadable thru the website to match the entire theme of the journal. So I have one journal insert that carries out my planning and bullet journaling activities. While the other one serves as a junk journal and organiser. Which I think expresses me as a journaller.

I hope this project inspired you to create something as well.
